Weiand Intake Install

Was installing my Weiand Action+ intake on my 400 tonight and I noticed when it was on there, that there are three holes that remain open. Each is threaded, the one at the rear of the manifold will accept the vacumn T for all the vacumn ports, the threaded hole in the front, is on the runner going to the #5 cylinder and will accept the engine temperature sender, but there is one more hole located on the other side of the front of the intake, that is way bigger. Here is what doesn't make sense to me, if the temp sender goes in thet hole on the runner, is it not taking the temp of the incoming air fuel charge, and not the coolant? There is no other place to install the sender. That one big hole is on the lower part of the intake and seems to be at a location where coolant passes through the front of the intake. Does the sender get installed there with an adaptor? Any help will be appreciated!

I thought I had read somewhere that it was dry!!!! So it's just a matter of getting plugs to close off the holes on the intake!! Thanks for the reply!!
