Banks headers

i have banks torque tubes for my v-10. they were around $1200. they are suposedly t-304 stainless, but they are magnetic. I call to express my concern, banks gave me some story of how they add nickel to aid in the bending process. now i am really wondering about banks (nickel being non magnetic) what do you guys think about this? i am cutting a piece off to have it tested a a local lab. all other exhaust components I ordered from magnaflow or had custom bent are all t-304 and are non magnetic.

Their "stainless" Exhaust Will Also Rust. I've Seen Plenty Of Banks Exhaust In Diesels That End Up With Spots Like A Rusty Leopard. If I Remember Right, They Get Their Stainless From Korea And It's 400 Series.

Not all stainless steel is non-magnetic. Most of it is but not all. I have the complete Banks kit and very happy with it. And yes it has rust spots all over it also. The factory exhaust I replaced was stainless also and full of rust.....stem to sturn.
