Question

Guy's Does my truck need a catalyic converter if i put a flowmaster 40 and dual straight pipes? Also do u need it for inspection? 1986 F-150 300-6 4.2

If its a visual inspection, you do need the cat or you will fail.

If there's Emmision testings, yes you need it.

If your Safety Inspection includes visual checking for it, then yes.

But, there's always that one place that's a bit more, umm... "lenient"
