Man,this bird flu is some crazy stuff aint it?I sure hope it doesnt turn into an epidemic. And after the big problem they had last year in Canada,I bet their officials are watching the chicken farms like a hawk.No pun intended.no room for jokes here, this is some pretty scarey stuff!
I have been paying some attention to the news reports regarding the bird flu. There is a cadre of health professionals and scientists that are very, very concerned about the possibility of mutation and rapid spread of the virus.
Historically, these things run in 20-30 year cycles. It has been 40 since the last great flu epidemic.
If you have kids and haven't taught them to wash their hands frequently and to keep them away from their face and mouth during cold and flu season yet, it's never too late to start!
Joking I have the bird flu, I have had it for about 7 years.
most quail hunters are referred to as bird hunters, hence my name. I am terminal with it, since about id october of 04 I have hunted 3-6 days a week (depending on how much "work" I have to get done. I work midnights and usually sleep in the evening and hunt all day.
some people just can't figure out when they ask "what have you beenup to lately?" and I tell them "since October I've quail hunted, slept and i go to work, and that's about it." They think I am joking but I ain't.
Like I said guys, I'm terminal and it's a rough life, but somebody's gotta do it.
Not joking, yes this is a serious epidemic that I hope doesn't spread to the US or you Canadian fellers.
