Front Differential Vent

I have a 2002 Sport Trac 4wd with 50,000 km. Had it up on my dad's hoist over the weekend for an oil change. Noticed oil had leaked over the frame by the left side of the front suspension . Traced the source to the vent from the front differential. Checked the oil in the differential and it was okay. The seal on the output side of the differential was replaced (leaking) before I bought the truck from the Ford dealer. Could it be possible that they over-filled the differential and it blew the excess out ? Or is there something else at play here? I'm a little suspicious now, knowing that a seal had leaked before with only 30,000 Km. Any ideas would be appreciated. I like to be well informed, in case I have to take it to the dealer.

I think i seen a service bullitin from ford for this , they leak if you over fill them , and they redesigned the covers or moved the vents on the new covers so they arent suposed to do that , ask your dealer , you might get a new one under warrantee.
