Floor shift for an automatic

I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of my gm column in favor of an Ididit or flaming river column. I'd also like to switch to a floor shift with long shift. any one got any suggestion on the column or shifter?

I'd go with a Genie or Lokar shifter.

I don't know about the others, but with the Lokar you can get your choice of handle lengths; I have installed a few and I use the longest one, about 21" or so. It bolts onto the top of your trans and uses an adjustable rod to shift (not a cable).

I'd go with the lokar shifter, easy to fit and as stated you can choose the length of the handle, and there is also a nostalgia shifter which looks like a manual shifter.

I installed a lokar 23" on my 52 f-1 and could not be happier.

I used a B&M when I did mine because of the cost at the time. I will change to genie or lokar one of these days for a better look or craft an old style shifter for the current setup.
