While changing out radiators I noticed the opening in the grill support for my '67 F100 seemed smaller than the opening on my 68 F100. My '67 originally came with a straight-6 and the '68 had a 360FE. Are the grill openings smaller in straight-6s? Are the smaller in the '67s? Or did I just imagine the whole thing?
Yes, I'm aware of your advice. I'm just curious about why it's different. I would probably prefer to just get another grill support as opposed to chopping the one I have up. Still just wondering if the difference is because it's a '67 or because it came from the factory with a straight-6, but I guess no one knows.
I dont think it had anything to do with the 67 model. Somebody correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that the six cylinders had a smaller radiator and smaller opening in the support. all the v8's had the bigger opening and a bigger radiator.
