No problem with the emission laws if you put the cat back in like I did...
and if done right, the cat will have such a minimal impact on performance or cooling that I challenge any of you to measure it !
Some have tested with and without cat and tried, but could not measure ANY difference in performance at the strip or DYNO...
After all - if you look at the cat. it has a flare on either side that can be cut back to mate perfectly with a 4 " exhaust.... and it flows VERY well....
my turbo back whistle is NO louder in the X, but rather loud, I'm told, outside...
and the rumble of the exhaust is not a problem at HIGH highway speeds and rpms for many hours on mine...
