Smile Just got a ford

Hey guys,

This is my first post here!

I just spent $2,500 cash for a White V6 1994 F-150 XLT LB with 130,000 miles on it. New tires and back bumper. The spark plugs look like they could be replaced but other then that it looked good. The cab was clean in good condition. Let me know what you guys think! I planned to spend more on a pick-up but it was taking to long to find one so I get this one. I would not mind putting $1,000 into it.

I have a question also. Those of you who have a V6, What kind of uses as far as heavy duty work have you done with it and how well as it fared. As well as things you have towed and how well it worked.

Let me know what you think of my buy.

Thanks guys!!

Hey Samuel! Welcome to FTE! Be sure to check out the Guidelines when you get a chance.

Sounds like you got a sweet truck there! Unless someone changed the engine you have an Inline 6 (4.9 L). It is a GREAT engine! Great for towing (lots of low end torque).

Be sure to take care of her and post some pictures in your gallery. Again, welcome and enjoy your ride!
