Just acquired a 1994 F-150, long bed, ext cab, 2wd, 302...for free. Was my dads truck till he crashed it. Damaged the bumper, hood, left fender, door (slight damage to door), behind rear door on the cab, and on the bed behind that. Also the front wheels look like /----\. Otherwise, the rest of the truck is mint. Body shop estimated $3500 in damage.
So far I've found a new hood, fender, and bumber for less than $300 (all new aftermarket). I believe I'll be able to fix it all for less than $1500, including having someone else paint it. Being a mechanic and having friends that can do some of the body work sure is nice.
Anyhow, can't wait to have this thing together again. Should be up and running within the next 2 weeks, minus the paint.
Are you getting body parts (hood, fender, bumper) from NPD or LMC Truck? Or do you have another source?
Actually, my room mate works at a local parts store is getting them through a company they deal with. I have no idea what co. it is tho.
Also, anyone know where I can get a drivers side i beam asssembly? Bent the hell outta it in just a ~5mph crash. Trying to locate one without much success. Need i beam, spindle, and radius arm.
