Lookin' to upgrade a '66 F100

Hey all.. I'm looking to add a pwr brake booster and maybe discs on the front and power steering to my '66 F100.. It's got a mid to late '70's 302 in it.. Can somebody let me know what year F150's would be easiest to take from and add to..?? What about mustang steering components..?? I'm new to the "FORD" family and I've been told they're not like chevrolet as far as interchangable parts so any help would be great.. Thanks alot.. Samuel

There is tons of info in the threads to take a look at. Pretty much any 74-79 F-100 settup will work for you, I went to manual brakes for know, micht upgrade to power later. Love the extra braking complared to my worn out drums! I also upgraded to the later rear drums 68 and up to get a little wider rear brake and a better match to the front brakes. I have not done the ps swap yet, maybe sometime down the road! I definitly recommend the brake swap first, best mod you can do on these trucks for saftey! Good luck!

Probably the most-asked question on the site.
Linky to the disc swap page: f100discs
Not true about the parts swap-a-bility. Just takes a bit more digging to figure out what fits what.
