I fixed my sagging door- hinge replacement
Disconnect battery-
use a marker to outline the hinge- this helps to realighn door when finishing.
open door and loosen bolts attaching hinge to door only.
once loose you nned to suspend the door from the ceiling or a branch or whatever. I used the rails of my overhead door opener in the garage. this prevents your door falling off onto the ground.
once I had the bolts almost all the way off I slid a sawhorse under the door to help the rope suspending door from ceiling.
I did not disconnect any electrical wires.( save for the battery ) I only moved the door away from the body as far as it would go. this allowed enough room for me to get at the actual hinge pin with my die grinder. I used a small fiberglass wheel for cutting steel pipe.
cut the pins in half ( I did upper and lower ) and knock out with a punch or a screwdriver and A RUBBER MALLET !!
once the pins are out the hinge comes loose and you may have to mess aroung with the bushing a bit- if you have a vice use it. I used the mallet and a flat head driver to get the bits out.
installation is reverse- pay attention to the orientation of the bushings..
