Flowmaster break-in ????

For what it is worth I had a set of Dynomax mufflers on an old truck, and they DID get louder with time (4 months). I later damaged one when the yoke broke, and the Drive shaft carved it open like a can. Looking inside I realized the fibre lining had eventually absorbed enough soot to alter the sound/flow/harmony. My current truck has a flowmaster on 1 in 2 out and tip to the sides after the rear wheels.....and its loud...always. It was on the truck when I bought it. As mentioned above there is no fibre in the Flowmaster just metal pieces angled accordingly.
