Installing brake controller?????
I'm installing a brake controller on my 99 f-350 and from what I understand there is a plug under the dash. My problem is, where can I find an adapter that plugs into it? Or does someone have a wiring diagram that I can just splice it in from. I would prefer to have the adapter, but I've been known to hack on stuff befor and I'll do it again if I must.

most brake controller manufactures sell a plug that will plug into their controller and plug into the factory plug under the dash, if you cant get that then ford sells a plug with open wires that you can splice your controller wires into.

I bought a brake controller for my 97 and I just plugged it in after finding the plug under the dash. It took about 1 minute to plug it in and about 2 minutes to mount the controller. If you haven't found a compatible plug-and-play controller keep looking.
