there is a tag on the rear housing for the rear end the bottom number like 4:17 should tell what ratio it is... I would imagine it is 4:15 to 4:55 usally 4x4's are geared real low
First jack up one side at the REAR of the truck ,make a chaulk mark on the tire and a corresponding mark on the ground/driveway/garage floor.
If the tire won't turn freely >you have a locking rear end which means ,you now jack up the other side too.
Now align the tire mark to the ground mark >
While turning the tire ONE revolution >Count the number of times the driveshaft turns >
If the DriveShaft turns 3 1/2 turns to One revolution of the tire >
You have a 3.50:1 rear > If it turns Just around 4 times >chances are you have a 4.10:1 rear
