bolt on exhaust

posted this in the exhaust section but have not received any replies. Can you guys help? I want dual pipes out the back.

I'm looking for a bolt on exhaust system for my truck. most manufacturers list their systems as 98-03. Does anybody know what the difference is w/ a 97 and why it is not included?

97 exits the truck before the wheel. i would think that a replacement system would be ok just exit behind the wheel like all the rest. You might have to rig up a hanger or two for the added length.

IMO, it's far easier just to buy muffler you want at the local exhaust shop, and let them fab up the type of pipes you want.

I know but funds are tight. I can do it myself for a little over $200.

That's about what I paid for my cat back system.

It definately won't hurt to crack open the yellow pages to see what's available.
