big back window crewcab
Hey guys, I'm thinking about putting a big back window from a long bed unibody parts truck into my red 65 crewcab.I would like to know if anyone has tried this and if so is there any reason not to do it?

Nice idea. The MAC guys have been trying to talk me into this mod for my Super Crew to go along with the suicide rear doors and full body mods i have done to make the truck a split bed uni.
Chad Miller of York PA has a big window installed in his 64 regular cab. Wyatt and he ended up removing the entire roof from a 61 uni and placing it onto the 64 cab. This truck is the one mentioned in classic trucks by Gary Pratt as seen at the supernationals.
Is your truck a ford factory or after market conversion like my crown?
The way Crown just cut apart things will make it hard to just mount the frame. i have not been able to disect a ford unit to see how they attached the roof stamping.
