C-notch

In the near future the total rear drop of my truck will be ~4.5". So id like to c-notch the frame for added suspension travel. truck is a '90 f150 regular cab long bed. Does anyone know where I can buy one? only ones I've found come in the belltech flip kits.

Most likely will have to be a custom built one. There's not allot of aftermarket support for lowering these trucks. (Not when compared to the number of lift kits there are out there anyway)

I mostly use 1/4" plate. Make a template out of cardboard, make sure it's what you need and cut it out with a cut-off wheel.

Google C-notch and you should find lots of pix.

If you don't have a lot of fab experience it may be best to but a kit.

Here's a few pics of mine. I mounted small bump stops at the top of the notch.
