That makes sense, cause the guy that was helping me at the parts store was looking up filters for the expy and the 350 at the same time. (I was spending a 87.00 credit)

You might pull off the cowl cover (is that right? the cover in front of the winshield). My wife's Escape actually has the box to hold the filter...just no filter installed. I think the dealer sell one for the Escape for $30 (with charcoal in filter) or a regular air filter type at auto store for about $5. Someone on one of the Escape forums figured this one out.
Its worth a try to pop the cover off the Superduty and see if there is a place to drop in a filter.
I don't have time, but hopefully someone will look in there and see whats under the cover!

The filter according to my service manual is located inside of the cab on the passengers side up under the heater box, the deal is from all of the information i can gather is it is a special order option and is rare (if at all) on SD's it is seen more often on the expy's. but a guy just might be able to get the parts and make one work on the trucks???
