Paint Question

i have just primed up my frame for my truck and was wondering what the best kind of black frame paint i should use . flat black . gloss black or is there a special paint thanks

I would guess it depends on your personal taste. Maybe yellow is the best? I used satin black in a can from rustoleum. I brushed it on so it was thicker than spray. The satin is a little dull, so it looks kind of like undercoating, but washes easier.

POR-15 is supposed to be the best stuff for painting undercarrage parts. I haven't used it myself (can't find it anywhere) but it's supposed to be tough as nails. Not sure if it's semi-gloss or what.

Go to eastwood.com and they have all the undercarriage paint you can imagine. They have a paint specially formulated for the chasis in one shade of black, and also another for the underhood black. But like teds74 said, it is mostly your personal tatse.
