Just got back from the police station some 16 year old kid just tried stealing my truck right out of the driveway. didnt know how to drive stick so he drove 5 blocks in 2nd gear, had to chase the little brat down in a 76 gremlin, when i got there smoke was pouring from the tranny.. he was just sitting in the cab trying to get it goin but i yanked him the hell outa there and tied him to my tube bumper with the winch line. the little *** hole blew the tranny(which was rebuilt last week). see there is more than one use for a winch.
how can you be a car thief and not know how to drive a stick?? stupid people.
oh and the real kicker is that i got a ticket because the bumper was 44" off the ground and the legal limit is 43" off the ground, thats pretty messed up huh.
That ticket will never stick if it was taken out of your driveway and not on the street. Simply take it to court and tell them that the truck was having work done on private property and that the bumper was to be returned to the proper height before it was driven on the street. They can't ticket you for that. They could probably stick it to the thief though, driving a vehicle on the road that wasn't street legal.
ok im goin off the subject im not sure what the original subject is but any way what tire would work best for street/mud- tsl RADIALS- ground hawg RADIALS- or bfg mud terrains, i really like the way the tsl's look but how are they on the street.
TSL's are not so hot on street. Hawgs last decent and are good mudders, however, they are directional and are horribly out-of-round. MTs are a good 50/50 balance between mud/street tire.
I think Im gonna get a winch now...
Edit: You should get a "full body shot" of your truck in your gallery, it sounds awesome.

The duct tape is to duck tape the Distributor Cap. The exhaust extender's are just basically pipe that fit very very well into the exhaust pipe, and rise up about 3-4 feet. it's really easy just go and buy a peice of piping like maybe 3 feet, have it bent (i work at a power plant so i get free stuff ) wrap it with something like a gasket holder or clamp and your set .
i was told by my lawyer that the ticket will be dropped, but hes goin to juvie for a few weeks. but the trannies my problem because there wasnt insurance on the truck. i tried telling them the truck didnt have insurance because it was parked for the winter, but they said they cant do anything because it didnt have insurance at the time. so now im stuck with rebuilding the tranny which was just done a couple weeks ago.
