I do believe its time for me to start watching DJ start his title winning second season!!! and of course his second streight budshootout Victory. I too watched practice yesterday, my wife thought I was like a kid in Disney Land, 3 months is just to long of an off season, LOL. I hope they get the Vibration out the 88 car before the race, guess he must be driving one of those new F150s, J/K lol.

Why do they always turn left??? Drivers must get tired of that. They should make some races lefty's and some righty's. Mix it up a little. Challenge the pit crews to be able to set up the cars for both throughout the season. I dunno, just a thought!!!

I miss hockey....

I've always heard that turning left has something to do with the direction the engine turns....that the flywheel acts as sort of a gyro or something?

Anyhoo....glad to hear them motors turning again myself!! Big Bill Elliott fan here and not sure where my next alliance will be. Just addicted to the sport in general.........

Yes it was great to hear those V-8's again, and to watch the first race's was great(ARCA series was first race, good action at that race,,),,,,Unfortunately,, Jimmy Johnson won ,,,was really hoping Bif would show em how its done again.

Bill is still racing, just went back to dirt. From what I have heard got tired of the politics of NASCAR and wanted to have fun. Went to his (Elliotts) shop awhile back with my son (who was wearing a Jeff Gordon shirt) and while we were walking around one of the workers came up to me and said "why do you abuse your son so?" Naturally I said "excuse me!?" and she said " how come you abuse your son by making him wear that Jeff shirt?" after a good chuckle I had to tell her it was his idea, the kid loves Jeff Gordon for some unkown reason.
