Cab Off Chassis

Plan on removing the cab off the frame on a 71 f-100 . IS it safe to lift it
off with ropes through the side windows lifting on the top of the cab?

cab off

Rustytrusty Itook my cab off with a strap through where the doors were. no problem Used a forklift . to put it back on the frame, i usesd camper jacks from bunce rentels. worked nice. $ 22.00 My cab was stripped. no glass no steering wheel no gas tank no nothing
