Interior Lights Won't Come On

the interior lights in my 01 f250 7.3 occasionally wont come on when i open the door or flip the switch until i reach up and tap the light. does anyone know why this happens or what can be done to fix it?

My '96 does the same thing .... poor gound . Try tightening the mounting screws a little .
