My 97 7.3 is high milage but has been all trip miles I have owned it about a year and had no problems until it got real sluggish. I changed fuel filters though fuel filtert light had not come on after starting. The filter was extremely dirty and the fuel heater had partially dis integrated. It ran fine after that and it was parked with block heater hooked up. I started it and it ran ok and I left block heater off. The next day it started but will not untrack itself as rpm's will not come up above 2500 out of gear Help Don

i would clean out the fuel pressure regulator, check fuel pressure. sounds like its starving for fuel to me. fuel pump might be dying on you. do you run any fuel additives? was the fuel filter black?
