just wondering when i turn the key to let the glow plug warm in the morning. after about 2 sec. I hear a sergre of fuel being pushed through the line. like their is air in the fuel line somewere. Thought my hard start in the mor. was glow plug related but im not shure now.
I have an automatic start on my truck , but when I have to walk out and cycle the glowplugs when the truck won't start , i hear the noise you speak of.
Not sure exactly what it is , could be fuel , could be something else. I have had my truck sience 2001 , and have heard it sience then with no issues I am aware of.
Ummm, I don't think it's a problem. Even if you start at zero fuel pressure it only take a few seconds to build up to full pressure, and you're still waiting on the WTS light to go out. The fuel pump is running the whole time and you have full fuel pressure.
