Anybody out there running a "real" straight pipe had any problems. By straight i mean no cat no muffler. Some people think no muffler is a straight pipe i'm talking about the real deal. Please guys or girls help me out here. Also how many miles have you driven with the straight pipe?

I ran a REAL straight pipe for about 4500 miles and had great luck with it, no problems at all. 4 inch dowpipe dumping into 4 inches all the way to the 6 inch tip.
Got a bit loud around town, and now I have a straight-through muffler (no real restriction there) so it is still essentially a straight-pipe, and still haven't had any problems.
You will get many differing opinions on this....be warned in advance
I have been running stock pipes, no muffler, and I took the cat off punched all of the stuff out, and put it back on, so I guess that would be considered straight piped. It has been like this for about 2000 miles. No problems so far, and it sounds ungodly.
I have MPBR exhuast and I have the muffler delete and cat delete pipes as well. The muffler delete only stayed in the truck for 80 miles. To much noise in the cab for me. I left the cat out and it sounds great. I have that MPBR muffler delete if someone wants it,.
