My truck is F150 86' 300 in-line 6, Manual tranny. the connecting shift rod is not on the truck, and it currently runs, minus the fact that it was stuck in 4 wheel low, and I was able to pop it out, but it now is stuck in nuetral at the transfer case.
Is there any linkage that could be rusted up ? If so spray it with penatrating oil and keep working it. My Bronco linkage was stuck,,would'nt go into low range,,oil did it !
just because i am new, and the Haynes Manual does not state otherwise, when I am sitting in the truck, to have the transfer case in regulare 2 wheel, should the lever on the case be forward or back?
