radio interchangeability
Does anyone know what the part#codes on say 95-04 Ford radios mean? I see lots of the units offered on EBay and I'd like to decode the number to see what they are actually out of and when they were manufactured.

I can't say about decoding the part numbers, but anything that came in the pre 97 F-150 was a single DIN head unit. Anything post 97 is 1.5 DIN. Cars are a different ball of wax. The tarus came with that round radio, but I think everything was 1 DIN for the same time periods.
