I have noticed it in the rear view mirror in the bed only, not the cab. Have a supercrew 4x4 3.73. Love it. Only complaint is the way the wind affects it. The truck really moves across the highway in a strong wind. I mean really moves!

That's strange. I've been in pretty strong winds and the truck seems to knife through them just fine. This truck is heavier than past versions. Do you have a camper shell on yours by chance?

Old-timer, mine does it on smooth roads also. seems to shake/vibe worse when i have to apply the pedal. it's the worse between 40-65 mph, the time you give it the gas to bring it up to speed. Whole truck, especially the bed, shakes pretty good. after that, it smoothes out a little bit and seems like vibe/shake (whatever you want to call it) gets a little less severe.
I also feel it in my seat, specifically the back or my seat around my mid back. i have a fx4 flairside, rcab 18" with goodyear wrangler ATS LT275/65/R18. first service trip, they indexed and supposedly road force balanced the tires. there are some pretty big weights on those babies. it's going back in a couple of weeks. i'm gonna ask for them to follow the TSB's that are out, reindex and road force balance my tires, and add the frame damper kit (there are a number of things they can diagnose. if that doesn't work, i'm gonna ask for new tires and maybe rims. if they can't balance them and correct this, its a manufacturer defect that covered under warranty. If there's a problem, warranty work should be performed. we now have 3 years, 36000 miles to get this corrected. I have started the documentation.

My truck came with Hancook P235/75R17 tires i just put Mastercraft P265/70R17 on my truck, it helped some made it better but the bed still shakes on bumps. Take the tailgate drop it about 2" from the bottom & watch the bed shake !

I just got my truck back from the shop for the bed shake and vibrations. They put one of the vibration dampeners on the back of the frame and it is night and day difference now. The bed does still bounce but you can not feel it through out the truck like you could before. Also during this visit they put on new Michellen cross trainer tire 265/70/17(very smooth running tires took alot of the steering nibble out but not all) new drive shaft and greased everything, don't know if these other things helped the bed shake the only one could possibly be the tires.

Did you have to pay for those tires? Those are the ones I want to get after these Generals wear out. I hope they can fix mine on March 5th when I bring it in.

Nope all paid through warranty work. I do like the ride of the tires, but I do not like the replacement price though($170.00ish a piece). I took my father for a ride in my truck after getting the tires replaced and his first comment was how quiet and good of a ride the tires were. By the way I had the Generals to start with (two sets that would not even come close to road force balancing).

Thats awesome. Gives me something to look forward to when replacing tires. So that frame dampner really helped? I'm going to ask my dealer to install it as well as checking all my tires for an out of balance or road force issue. Its funny that above 65mph it totally smooths out, no bed shake at all.

Glad to spread some joy! Now I just wish someone would come up with a steering dampener and I would be happy camper. Yes have them put one of the dampeners on the rear of your frame. I asked and asked to get one put on to no evail so I decided to put one on myself, sure till I priced it that baby is $500!!!! So I finally got the service to put one on through warranty. By the way the wife and I just got home from town driving the truck and her first words aut the road was man this thing is completely different with out the shaking of the bed. HOPE ALL THIS RAMBLING HELPS YOU OUT AND MAKES YOU FEAL ALITTLE BETTER!!!!

if its shaking on smooth roads, i'd forsure get that checked out. Could be dangerous. I'm pretty sure i heard someone had a snowmobile/quad in the back that was ratchetstrapped down, and it vibrated so hard it unhook, and the item flew out of the back, going down a back road, good thing it wasn't a highway or in the city.
