wind shield wiper module

I think the wind sheild wiper module on my truck is bad. But it is my winter beater and i am broke. I was wondering if there was a way to bypass the module. If it eliminates my interval control i don't care i just need them to work. Any one know how to rid this up or have a wiring diagram and i can figure it out myself. Is it even possible to bypass it?

I have this same problem, I have a 98 explorer limited and I think the pump went bad because it prob froze up and seized. I have the replacement part and was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how to put the replacement piece in

87 f150?

Are you talking about the module that controls the wipers working or the pump that moves the washer fluid? After your answer, I maybe can give you an answer.

Here is a wiring diagram for the wipers.

http://www.autozone.com/images/cds/g...3d800a3a5b.gif

I would try putting 12 volts on the white wire, and then try to put 12 volts on the darkblue/orange, to see what each does. I am afraid if you wire it up to a toggle switch this way, they won't park at the bottom like they are supposed to though.

actually neither the fluid or the wipers work but right now i need to get the wipers working. The wiring diagram wasn't the right thing either.

Thanks for the help so far hopefully we can figure this out.

Those wiring colors in the lower right corner of the diagram don't match yours?
