Wiper Delay Module (aka Wiper Governor)

My wipers have started to act up. It looks like the wiper delay module is going bad. Per the advice of others on this forum, I will take it apart to see if I can re-solder the components on the wiring board.

Couple of questions:
1) On my 96, the wiper module is behind the glove box, right? Or is it down by the parking brake release?

2) In the event that I have to replace the module, I see two different part numbers on the rockauto.com site. What's the difference? MOTORCRAFT SW7665 and SW5630

Thanks in advance

your 96 will be behind the glove box. the module is mounted to the dash near the switch on the 87 to 91 trucks.
