Question ?

couple questions. first of all i have a 1984 F-250 4x4 diesel Extended cab. im thinking of lifting it anywhere from 2-4 inches. is there anything (gas lines, brake lines, driveshafts, etc.) that i need to extend. also does anyone know where to find a cheap lift? and last- im pretty sure i have a solid front axle but is it solid or ttb?

TTB, unless someone converted it. '86 is when 350's started using solid fronts. You shouldn't have to extend anything. At most brake lines, and most brands use brake line extensions. Rough Country makes inexpensive lifts.

You'll need the extended brake lines. the original 80-86 lines are really short. Try the brake lines form a 90 F250, you'll have to get 2 from the passenger side (trust me, driver's side has some weird hookup on them), I'm pretty sure they are about 4" longer.

You'll have sway bay drops too if you have sway bars.
