TBC Fault Code????

TBC Fault Code????

Has anyone ever encountered this fault code? I have an 05 Lariat CC Diesel- No brake lights, no turn signals. The driver info. system activates this message each time the brake pedal is applied. Any ideas, suggestions or information on this is would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it has something to do with the Trailer Brake Control unit...just guessing though. Good luck.

Thanks. Any other ideas? BTW, I do have the tow command system, has anybody heard of this before? Seems a little odd with only 3900 miles!

I would definately be on the phone with the dealer. I would also check my owner's manual, I would think that there would be a description of the message or what could be causing it.

Already called them they have never heard of this code. They were going to research it. I just thought that someone on this board might have encountered the same thing. I'll keep my fingers crossed here!!!!

I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago, but then I haven't had it happen since then. All I know was that it happened while I was trying to start the truck. Turned the key back to off and thten tried starting it again and it was fine.
