Question about brake wear.

My receipt from service at the dealer states that rear brakes are at 5mm and front are at 7mm. Anyone know what this means in terms of wear percentage? What are new orig. equip. brakes at?

well, since nobody else jumpped in. i would GUESS about 11-13mm new......i have never heard of not giving a percentage tho....seems strange. usually hear "50% front, 30% rear" or something....

Ford recommended min thickness is 1 mm. I'd do it at 2 mm to be safe.
