Well, I went to the dealer yesterday and made sure the sub/amp was plugged into the back of the head unit and it was. The dealer told me the AMP might be blown that powers the subwoofer. I've scoured eBay and many online stores...but have yet to find any info on these amplifiers. I have a $50.00 for my ESP and am leaning towards just having the dealer fix. BUT, if I can find a working amp for less than $50.00, I might go that route... Anyone habve any info on these amps?? Ford part number is 8B849...
How much does the new amp cost? I'm sure that you can find a used amp if you look around, I have sold many of the subs and amps on ebay and there always between $50 and $100. IF you will post the full model number on the amp I will look and see if i have the right one.Kirby
Sorry, I don't have the full part number as the panel was put back in place. This is the only thing it says on the sheet from the dealer (ESP Part Number 18B849 - Prem Sound Amplifier). I do not know what the amp costs via Ford.
