I have a 78 F250 4x4
I just bought the skyjacker complete system kit with a 6 inch lift.
I only got 2 shocks with this kit which are H7059 But do I put these in the rear? What about the fronts, what model Hydro do I get, when i go on thier website they left that column blank and only mentioned the Rear. Are the fronts the same as rear?
Also I need brake lines from skyjacker, do i need to get the front sets FBL93 and rear sets RBL93?
The blank means they are the same as the rear. I have the catalog and it shows that they are the same. I would get both the front and rear brake lines.
I don't know the part numbers, but I know that for the 4" kit that I just ordered Skyjacker doesn't make hydro's for the front. I had to go with Nitro's for the front and rear to keep them the same.
The shocks are the same front and rear i.e. H7059 the only difference is the mounts. According to the catalog you can specify which ends you need. The mounting codes are offered in three different types S1, ES25, and EB1 as optional. S1 uses a stud mount, ES25 uses a eye ring\bushing\sleeve, EB1 uses a eye ring\bushing. Remember EB1 is optional. They sell these three styles in different configurations such as: eye upper and lower mount, stud upper & eye lower mount, and stud upper & lower mount. The length of the H7059 extended is 28.75" the length collapsed is 16.56". I believe on my 74 F-250 it uses eye mounts upper and lower on the rear shocks and studs upper and lower on the front shocks. However, the shock mounts on a 78 F-250 may be different.
