ford 460 motor mounts

My 79 4x4 with 460 mounts seperated they look like rubber that was glued to the plate. The perches lookk factory like they were swapped from another truck does anybody know what kind of mount I am looking for. The rubber part is 1 inch thick. Can I get from local auto store

L&L makes the conversion mounts. Unsure what mounts you have, but they did put 460's in 4x4's in the 80's. They might work, I dont know.

even the l&l mounts use the ford block side and rubber mounts, i have part numbers in the garage e-mail me if you want them

I installed a '84 460 in my 79. I bought new engine mounts that look like the originals from the 84. I had to enlarge the mounting holes a little to get it to fit in. My original 429 (when I bought it) has L&L mounts and they were broken when I pulled the engine. I didn't like quality and the price of the L&L. I did use L&L p.s. pump and alt. brackets and they were great! (expensive, but fit perfect)
