Steering binding

Ok, this pertains to my truck in sig. It has a superlift 4" kit with leafs and drop pitman arm, shocks ect. I belive it is their delux kit. My ball joints are new and there is no play in the tie rod ends. But when I accelerate moderately hard around a turn the steering feels like it binds a little and then it releases like a "snap". The truck has also been aligned. Is it possible that the joints are bad in the steering column? This also has universal joints all the way down, no rag joint. I figured I post it here because I feel it is lift related, although I really don't know. Thanks, Dave

Thats where I think my problem is. I can't see it binding anywhere else. The geometry looks good, but like I said there is about an 1" of play in the steering wheel up and down. Is there a bushing or a bearing in there that could be worn out?
Thanks, Dave
