Explorer 98 Converter Issue

Hi all, my explorer sometimes turn off torque converter clutch while cruising at hightways, constant speed, no trailler no hills, just driving at constant 75mph and sudenly converter is turned off and after 2 or 3 seconds is locked again. There is no "Check Engine" lamp on cluster nor "Overdrive Off" lamp on cluster blinking.

I know this is a problem caused by faulty TPS sensor but if so, why computer don't set error codes???

Any ideas?? Thanks in advanced.

Check it for codes. The check engine light does not always come on with only 1 or 2 instances of an error. It does usually set a code.

Ok I'll take it for a scan, any ideas? could be caused by TPS as I'm imaging??? or something worse???
