Rad Ideas?

Rad Ideas?
My 81 300 4x has a little dinky rad, which seems odd, because it has the snowplow options on it. Anyhow, want to swap in a rad from say a 302... would that fit? What would be best? Would anything else fit? I do a little towing with the truck, but it's a 4 speed so I don't need a trany cooler. I'm on the West coast but do go to semi desert areas from time to time, so need some reserve cooling.

You need to keep your 6 cylinder tanks. A good rad shop should be able to get you a HD cooling 6 cyl rad, or for the ultimate in cooling, have them put a set of 6 cyl tanks on an 83-84 460 core. If you don't have HD cooling or A/C, you will have to make the opening in your radiator support wider so the entire core gets airflow.
