I have a 97 f350 turbo diesel with a 5 speed, the clutch has to be held to the floor to be able to shift the truck. As soon as you pick your foot up a 1/2 inch off of the floor the clutch engages. I just bought the truck and it supposedly has a new clutch in it any suggestions would help me alot

Hard to explain but their is a bushing under the dash in the clutch linkage that is kknown for getting bad and causing this problem. Its a really simple fix. Their's a replacment on e-bay for them also if ya do a search for "ford clutch bushing" i think??...
