I just installed the Valet 561r, remote start with keyless entry. Works great. $225.00 installed at the local auto accessory shop.

This is a good one also.

I've also seen a few of these on ebay. Only thing is buying on ebay you probably won't get a warranty, or specific wiring instructions. These companies dont sell to the public. They only want factory authorized installers installing them. These guys have access to an online database of color codes for the install. Not to say that you could not do it, I just would'nt want to be splicing into the ignition harness myself. Also, for diesel these things need to be programmed for glow plug timing. The underdash unit has buttons that the installer presses certain sequences of button presses to program the various parameters. These guy are a little secretive with this info. Good luck.

If you have remote locks now, just buy the ford keyless pad stick it to the door and no wires for $70.00 at ford. Don't trust it 100%, keep A hide a key i'v been locked out three times now. first time I didn't have hide A key, had to break rear window

I'm installing it myself, just need to know where the best place to splice the wires in for the doorlock motor. I don't trust these installers and I dont like the 3M t taps.
I bought a code alarm ca-120, I'm pretty sure they make the Ford systems.

I tapped into the door lock wires in the drivers side kick panel behind the e brake lever.

well.... what kind of vehicle do you have...... i just did an install of a crimestopper into a 2002 mustang, and i just tapped into the wires for them down in the GEM (general electric module ), which was located near the drivers side kick panel. on that particular car, there were 3 seperate plugs inside there, and most alarm/keyless entry systems will give you a chart to tell you which plugs, and then which wires in that plug to use....... i also hate the 3m taps..... they are very unreliable.... especially with a very small gauge wire.... so i always strip back the insulation on the factory wires without cutting them, then take the wire tapping in and solder them to each other. wrap it in some tape, and put a small zip tie around the outside, your good to go !!! good luck !!!

Pull up your rocker molding. It's easier access than behind the ebrake I think. That's where I spliced into them. You can remove the rocker molding by just pulling up gently starting at the front and working your way back. I'm assuming you have a newer SD...

I am looking at the Audiovox alarm with remote start in my '05 250 PSD.

My friends has his 350 alarm also lock/unlock the tailgate, very nice. I did not even see this as an option on my 250. The alarm shop says they can add this feature with an aftermarket add-on. Anyone know if Ford has factory part for locking the tailgate I can get installed? Right now the keyfobs lock/unlock the doors, not the tailgate.
