removing catalytic converters
im thinking of removing my catalytic converters on a 98 expedition.
one might be shot and i believe parts of it flew into the muffler and damaged the baffles.
one question, are there any sensors located near the catalytic converters that will give me a service engine soon light?
what to do?

Yes, the rear O2 sensors will set off a MIL in the even that the cats are removed. I believe summitracing, jegs, and a couple other places sell MIL Eliminators that will plug into the oxygen sensor wiring harness and take care of that "problem." hehe

Also, some have suggested it is criminal to remove cats/emission controls. You might want to look into this before you do it....I've never researched this personally but have removed emission parts in the past.
