overhead rail console and headliner?
Has anyone with the new overhead rail console setup on the O4/05 F-150s had any problems with the sliding components chewing on or cutting the headliner where it slides back and forth? I was at the Greenville Auto show today and checked out the system in the trucks. I saw that in this one truck it was wearing on the headliner from the numerous times it had slid back and forth. Not impressive for a show vehicle.

I have the overhead with 2 storage bins and a DVD. These things don't slide to well at all, there acually very hard to slide. They tell you if you want to move them, just unclip them and move them by hand. I never heard of them ripping up the headliners at all. Probably someone who didn't know what they were doing was in the truck groofing around with it and somehow mangaged take a toll on the headliner.
