Greg I had forgotten about that alternator situation. One thing about having an Auto Zone Battery, you can take the truck to any Auto Zone and they will run diagnostics on the electrical system for free. I had a problem with one of their batteries and they did the system check found the battery was bad (everything else was working fine)and replaced it.

I like Ranchrods idea. If you can get it down to Autozone they will check your system for free. They generaly have some pretty good equipment and it is simple to use so that even your everyday teenager can run it...
