99 F150 Transmission Problem
Just purchased a 1999 F150 4X4 Supercab with 49K with an auto transmission. While driving I noticed a vibration or shudder from the drive line when it changes gears.It more noticable when its under a load or hard accelleration. This truck had an electric brake and must of towed something quite heavy.There is no transmission oil cooler and I'm concerned that the transmission was overheated by the previous owner. The dealer tells me that the vibration is normal and not to worry. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or is the dealer trying to avoid a transmission repair.
