Headders

Is 250.00$(cdn) good for a set of hooker headders for a 351M?and what size pipe would be good for that engine?would 3" be to big? thanx for any help

250 bucks is a pretty good price for hookers....i dont know about the size you should go with, im going with 2.5 inch

If your going true dual exhaust, I think 3" is too big. For single exhaust, 3" is fine. 2.5" is good for duals.

2.25" Is pretty good for the M, it depends on how much noise you want to make and how much (and where) you want the Tq. and Hp.

If by true duals you mean with out the cross over then yeah thats what I`m doing becuse i`m doing it my self and dont have the equip to bend pipe.So about 2.25 or 2.5 would be big enough?I want to have a HP and tourque in mid range about?I want it to blat thats why i`m going with the cherry bombs right off the headders! thanx for all the help and anymore input

Sounds about right, if you want the insane noise go with 2.5" Thrush Magnums because as far as I know the cherry bombs are actually 29.5" long versions of the 2.25" ones with the 2.5" inlets. at least thats what mine are, they are actually pretty quiet. The Magnums are 24" long and 2.5" perf tube dia.
