Hi out there, anyone know of anyplace to buy a power sliding rear window, or a kit to convert from manual to power for a Superduty? i currently have a "normal" slider and I get tired of reaching around to open the glass. Guess my "old age" is showing....
thanks
Wayne
I have a factory one in mine ,love it! any off road shop will have them, power slider is what they say on the back window of the aftermarket ones, same company makes them for ford!
I just bought an 05 lariat that somehow didn't come with the power slider. Does anyone know if the wiring is in place from the factory at the window and behind the 4 wheel drive selector switch to add a Ford one?
Well, I finally got my power window!!!! All from Ford too. The kit comes with window, harness, switch, and assorted hardware. I had a mobile window installer install the window, then I ran wiring and mounted the switch. I now have a manual slider available if anyone needs to buy one.
The Cr lauerence distributor in the chicagoland area is sommer & maca in cicero, a major glass wholesaler to the automotive glass and storefront glass market. They have a parts counter and sell wholesale. Bill
i have the power slider but dont use it because when i rode in a friends dodge short bed all the crap in the bed would fly into the cab...is this not the case with fords, long or short bed, or with tailgate up or down?
