I just bought a 2000 ford ranger 6 months ago. I've given my truck a complete tune up but.. Once and a while the truck will mis I can't fine the problem and there are no codes coming up. I love the truck. Do you know what it could be? When it happen's the truck can hardly pull itseft.. I have to put it to the floor it take off again like there no problem.
Did the truck miss like this before the tune up? If not, then you know where the problems lies (plugs and/or wires).
You should think about fuel delivery in addition to the ignition system. Have you done a fuel pressure test? Is the fuel filter the original (how many miles on truck)?
There is 110,000 Km on my truck and I have changed the fuel filter The truck did it before. So I give a complete tune up. I putt all ford products on my engine.(Wires, fuel filter, Plugs I mean everything the complete tune up package.) I was reading up on the my truck on the web and there was a guy having the same problem and it ture out to be his drive shaft. Have you ever heard of that before. Or is he just feeding some crap.
